One anterior nasal swab, three answers. BinaxNOW COVID-19/Flu A&B is a professional-use rapid test that detects and differentiates SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and influenza B in patients showing signs and symptoms of respiratory infection. The cassette is read by eye after 15 minutes, so there is no analyzer to set up, which makes it a practical fit for point-of-care testing. Each kit is CLIA waived and packed with everything for 25 tests.

Negative results are presumptive and should be confirmed with an FDA-cleared molecular assay when a healthcare provider determines it is appropriate. Refer to the Instructions for Use for clinical performance data and full limitations.
Directions for Use
- Swab: Rotate the swab against the inside of the nostril, making at least 5 circles, then repeat in the other nostril.
- Stir: Completely immerse the swab in the buffer tube solution, then mix vigorously by rotating it 10 times.
- Add drops: Attach the cap to the tube, then squeeze only 4 drops into the sample well.
- Wait: Read the result after 15 minutes. Do not read or interpret results before the 15-minute mark.
- Read: C is the control line, S is COVID-19, B is influenza B, and A is influenza A. If the control line is visible and any other line appears on S, B, or A, the test is positive for that virus.
